My observation after watching this demand vs. supply situation for awhile is there is always a constant slow but steady demand for this exhaust. And whoever in line is pretty passionate for the cause. Limited production always leads to this. For it to be truly worth it to Mike there needs to be more volume. It would help him with production and get him past the point of production on the basis of pre-order. He could actually stock these if the capital was good. How do you convince the masses they need a $1000 exhaust? That's the problem right there. Either people are not interested at all or the small very niche percentage of us REALLY want it bad!!

I have to be on the list. I have wanted this quad exhaust ever since I bought my 06 WDP TL in Dec 08.

I guess I will just sell my 40 day old 06 WDP A-Spec rear lip and order the 08 TL-S A-Spec rear lip.

I can REALLY UNDERSTAND the owners who bought the "LAST BATCH" BUT COME ON, This is for US AZ guys. We are not talking about making 10,000 of these. I have been on the AZ forum for 2 years, live close to Chicago and have NEVER seen another TL MODDED. This is my 3RD TL since 2006. And I drive around ALOT!!!

Just please make another batch for the GUYS/GALS on AZ.

I have to be on the list, and have a DEPOSIT NOW

Thankyou for reading my little "RANT"

Think about it. If something is exclusive, limited etc. then would it make sense for it to be in stock forever? Just b/c it is making him money doesn't mean anything. He is a man of his word when he says something. Believe it or not, some people are not all about the money.

well i completely missed the fact it was exclusive. if i had known that i wouldn't have bought my a-spec kit last sunday. i think its awesome it is exclusive but i mean cmon... we all know how popular a car the TL is. we see them all on the road. Acurazine is a very small community in comparison. and as big of a city this is, im pretty certain no one here in s.a. has bought this exhaust and even if they did, i probably would never see them on the road. if i were the seller, i would keep it exclusive to acurazine members. either way i respect the decisions of the seller; grats if you already have the exhaust, i just hope to get in as well.

Besides exclusivity, there's also the fact that Mike is trying to get the new 3.2 TL Exhaust out for everyone.

I just think its silly not to make 20-30 of these. There are probably MORE TL's In Libertyville IL then ANYWHERE, and I have NEVER seen one MODDED YET. I drive around for fun and have ALWAYS wanted to see other nice TL's but NO LUCK.

Making even 100 more of these is like a GRAIN of sand on Miami Beach.

Make the batches of the new BASE TL's with the new tips, and then make another batch of quad for the people who have been here for some time now.

Ok Guys Lets close this thread already cause its not playing a role anymore. I dont know what people dont get about this ten is the LAST BATCH. If AZine members wanted this exhaust they could have gotten it when it was available. Everybody has had their equal opportunity to acquire this exhaust. I voted yes for an "extra" ten to be produced, but ya Im tired of people poppin up everywhere asking for it now. From day one its been known that the ATLP quads will be on a "limited" run. I Spoke to mike today and confirmed that there will be no more quads produced after this batch. I think I speak for other ATLP owners. Your welcome to disagree.

PS. We cant all have a ATLP!?

I agree. This thread has run its purpose. For those who have e-mailed Mike, we all need to take a step back now, and stay quiet. Everyone knows we've been approved, so we don't need to keep asking questions or asking why can't Mike just build 'em all day, every day.

At this point, I believe it's best we all go on with what we were doing on AZine before this, and wait for Mike's instructions as to what we need to do next.

This is indeed the last batch. It's final, and was the only exception, sorry.

It was marketed as a limited batch exhaust, which I'm keeping my word to. Everyone loves to enjoy modifications on their cars, but it's to be a bit different than stock. But if everyone has the same mod, that would make it not as fun anymore. It's like the TL-S tail lights...almost everyone has them now, and you can see the trend that people are starting to go back to stock, or go with Base tails.

Anyway, it's not always about the money. As long as there is enough money so that I can continue production on other parts, and have enough to get by, than I think it's fair. I understand that this is indeed a business, but there no need to be greedy.

If you already haven't done so, e-mail me at mike@acuratlparts.com if you are interested. That way if someone cancels, it will be in order of who e-mailed first.

I admire your outlook on your business Mike. Very refreshing and rare. Looking forward to seeing what you come out with next

As for the exhuast and the controversy it's caused lately, congrats once again to those that were able to get their hands on one. My stance, not that it matters which is why I didn't vote on it, has been that I like the exclusiveness of the system but it's Mike's product to do with what he wants.

What I don't get is how several people are saying how they've wanted this system for so long yet they didn't know it was a limited run. Mike was clear about this from the time he introduced it on the site. I feel for those that want it and aren't able to get it, I really do. But, questioning the way Mike runs his business or trying to get more produced because you "didn't know" isn't cool.

Finally, someone that actually knows what he's talking about. You explained it perfectly. I'm sure there are still going to be people that disagree and still want one though.

As for Mike, thanks for clarifying it, AGAIN. Can't wait for your upcoming product

I just recently started 'lurking' (within the past two weeks) on Azine again.. and didn't even know there was a hub bub about these exhausts. I've known about ATLP website for a while and have seen it on there and just figured it always be around (I guess I came back to Azine at the 'right' time). Anyways, thanks for making this limited run. Seems the more I read about this exhaust, the more I'm finding that I made the right choice.
