Trying to figure out what to buy for my next mod. Get Aspec lip kit or Tein SA coilover? What do you guys think? they both about the same price.

buy my tein ss and oem top hats for $500 shipped (i'm about to put them up on the black market)

and then buy the aspec kit haha

i feel both the kit and coilovers greatly improve the look of your car...at this point i've only done coilovers but only because wdp has such a bad color match with the kit.

either product is a win win

 

100% suspension before cosmetics as that bumper kit will only add to the looks where as suspension adds to performance AND looks.

With all kidding aside, coilovers can be bought anytime as there is always a product out there for our application in that department.


The lip kit is running low and most colors have been discontinued; so plus one on getting the lip kit.

Limited numbers on KB left and no longer any side skirts in KB available will need painting. Front is very limited and rears I am not sure. I just ran the bases myself

So what I am saying it might work out to be more than coilovers if OP is not counting on painting to match

 

I just picked up my A-spec Lip kit from a local dealer and he informed me that the Anthrecite Metallic color is the only one left for order. All other colors have been discontinued. So to find any other color you will more than likely have to find a dealer with one in stock.

And get both i plan on getting Tien SAs very soon.

 

The A-Spec lip kits really are getting hard to find in all colors. We have still been shipping a few every week but that well is definitely going to dry up soon. Endangered list includes all the 2007-08 TL Base options. Only in one color now!

 

Whats the outlook on Carbon Bronze Pearl? The only thing I can find for my 07 is the Type S lip kit for the front and rear. Sides are apparently no longer available.

 

The outlook? It's pretty much dead afaik. Don't wait too long if they are available now.

 

Like most said, if the A-spec kit is that important to you, get that before the coilovers.

 

Get the lip kit.... you can get the suspension later....
