Aspec kit vs parking blocks?

You know how most parking lots have those rectangle blocks of concrete at the end of the parking spot so you don't go over.. I assume lowered TL's would scratch their aspec kit/bumper if hit into that but stock height it goes over it perfectly and was wondering if got aspec kit at stock height would it start scratching it or still go over ?

On stock suspension you'll be fine.

Yep, you'll be a ok! It will be good practice to not actually park over top of them even at stock height, that way you'll have some practice should you ever decide to go lower.

You should be fine with stock height.

Some of those blocks are higher than others.

As mentioned, the best thing to do is to not park over it at all.

I can find parking blocks that you will scratch at stock height without the aspec lip

I would just park a reasonable distance away from them and not worry about height at all.

Parking blocks? What are you, poor? Buy your own parking spot wherever you go, duh.

Simple fix - don't park too close to it.

I wouldnt see why something OEM made for the car would impose such threats. Just avoid such things if you're insecure about your parking skills

I never understood why people would just drive over them. Just stop before the front end would be over it and you'll never hit them. If you wanna park over them buy a truck and don't stop till your tires hit. lol

A car or it's accessories/add-ons being OEM have nothing to do with how low or high a parking block is and how close one could or would come to them. You could have a lifted truck but if you're carrying massive weight it's possible to get it low enough to scrape it's subframe.

+1 Having a backup camera is nice too. I've found that the OEM camera lines up the bumper one screen pretty perpendicular to the ground as well making it easier to know when to stop.

The parking blocks must be small where you guys live. I'm at stock height and I know my front lip won't clear most of the parking blocks around here.

I live in a land heavily populated by pickups and SUVs, and it seems the roads and parking lots are designed around them. They have to make them extra tall so soccer moms in Chevy Tahoes don't just drive right over them.
