What kind of damage do you think you'll run into this winter? A little bit of snow won't hurt it.

If price is good now, purchase and store.

Since you live in Joizy, you'll be plowing streets especially if dropped I know I did. lol

+1 on buying and storing if you find a good deal, otherwise wait until winter is over.

Only hazards I've encountered with my A-Spec kit are rock chips (but its ok, it matches my front bumper real nice) and low curbs. I've plowed through snow drifts at the front of my driveway from the snow truck that were ~1.5 feet deep with my A-Spec kit on. Snow and salt don't affect it anymore than they would to another part of the car. Go for it now if you want it.

I live in Canada.. and I have mine on, lol!
A little snow won't hurt it, unless you slide and hit a snow bank..
Just make sure everything is bolted/screwed on nice and tight.

+1. All of the damage would be done during the summer time when people drive crazy and spit rocks up at your car. The only thing about our cars that needs to be changed from winter to summer is the tires/rims if they are chrome.

I wouldn't buy it now and store it. It's winter and people wreck their cars and write them off and stuff like that. If that happens you got that lip laying around for no reason, then have to go through trouble of selling it... just get it in the spring, then detail your car and out a new lip on and it's gonna feel like you got a different car.

I wouldn't install it now either. Imagine driving through snow for several miles and getting build up of snow just past the fenders. All of that extra weight pulling on your a-spec. I've seen snow build up on the rear bumper of my friends new Civic and it ended up coming off and taking part of the bumper with it.

You'll be fine, just mount it properly.

Then the person who installed it did something wrong, no way snow can rip off a lip and bumper. If it did happen, then its one of those one in a million instances.

^Word. Don't hold off on installing it. People sometimes act like winter is a death sentence for their cars.

I would wait until after winter unless you cant wait. You might be able to shop around for a cheaper price with more time.

any ideas on how much does it cost to install an aspec body kit? I have all stock 05 TL, my front bumper paint started peeling the other day, probably because of all the abuse it got during 5 years in NYC area.

^The A-spec kit doesn't cover the front bumper much at all man.

Who says A-Spec isn't for winter? Took this today after I got home from my commute home. First snow of the year. Here we go...

Where are you getting your A-Spec kit? How much do they generally run? Do you think putting a A-Spec kit on a TL-S 2008 would be a good idea? I really like the look of it.

ACURA dealer charges $350, I charge less than a third of that for the full kit. I also supply the kit and get it at $770 shipped.

If you like the look of it and can afford it, then get it. Its only $770 from me shipped and comes painted. If you are around NJ I can install it for only cheap.

Just to clarify, is this for the body style of the A-Spec or the A-SPEC suspension modification?
