Aspec kit/mud guard issue

Hey all, I was thinking about getting an aspec kit for my ASM TL, but I currently have mudguards on my car that probably have been there for at least three years. My question is, if I take these off is there going to be marks that won't go away due to being on there so long. I don't want to remove if they will look bad on where they were any insight would be welcome. Thanks!

I installed the ASPEC kit after having the mudguards on for a few years and I had no issues.

shouldn't the apec cover up areas the mud guard touches on the car?

^It is true. The A-Spec sides replace the original pieces which (on mine) had marks from the mudguards. Now it looks brand new!

It shouldn't matter much since the side skirts (where the front mud guards attach) will be replaced and the rear bumper will be covered up where the rear mud guards attach. I suggest you keep a bottle of car wash solution mixed up because when you take off the mudguards there will be a line of dirt between the mudguard and body.

So from what I am getting here shouldn't be much of an issue. Just didn't want it to look worn or anything in those places
