Geez, I thought I had a SSM for 2 years now, but everytime I see someone selling a ASM body kit on here, it looks just like mine.
So please show me a pic of a ASM and a SSM so I can see the difference.

SSM Paint Code is NH623M, ASM is NH700M

ASM seems a slight bit lighter, but barely a difference, at least from what I can tell. You can see what your car's paint code is by going on paintscratch.com or looking in your driver's side door jam and it will list on the sticker.

 

It depends on the year of your car. If you have an earlier car it will be ssm. I am not sure if it was 06 or 07 when they changed to asm. It's really hard to tell a difference unless you know what you are looking for.

 

Just check the sticker inside your door jam to make sure.

 

Anyone know offhand which of the two the 08 Honda Accord Coupe would be?

 

06 was the first ASM.

 

There is a difference between ssm and ASM... most will say slightly...but if you put the cars next to each other.. the slightly because more.... 07-08 use ASM... 04-06 use SSM....

Shoot...I told my GF to get the wrong touch up paint for her car. I think SSM is a little lighter.
