Must be a region thing. Every other TL I see around here is ABP.

ABP was only available in 04-05 models making it much more rare then the other standard colors. I was originally looking for one myself, but an abp with black interior/6speed combo made it nearly impossible to find.

When I was looking back in '05, I had wanted the ABP/ebony/6MT combo but they had quit making that in '04. And when the KBP TL-S came out, I had wanted that, too, but it's hard to find that with the ebony/silver combo in the used car department for a reasonable price. I may paint my CBP TL-S midnight blue later down the road lol.

There's quite a few DMMs in my area, including mine. I think its one of the few cars that look decent in the beige color.

ABP is most definitely not ugly!!

Quartz interior here. First TL I saw on the lot was ABP/Quartz and I knew that's what I wanted.

i am the only one in the area... i'll maybe see another one on the highway across the state but that is it...

and agree with an aspec kit, DMM looks insane.. Desper's DMM TL is my inspiration...

Before I got my ABP i saw a DMM with 6MT/navi that i was interested in on autotrader..was gonna take a look but the dealer had already sold it.

Anyways, I'm glad i didnt compromise (wasnt a fan of DMM) and got my ABP instead. Dont see many 6MT versions driving around. I see a handful of autos in the OC area though all driven by working class adults (no modding). Def not as much as AM or NBP, or WDP for that matter. I think they also discontinued ABP at some point.

I love how our paint looks blue, purple, or black depending on lighting conditions. It's so versatile :P

People here seem to dislike camel but it goes well with the blue exterior, imo.

When I had a 2G TL, I hardly ever saw ABP. My 2G TL was Redondo Red Pearl. Seemed like everybody and their brother had a RRP 2G TL... So when I got a 3G TL, I got ABP.... But then (around here anyways), it seemed like everybody and their brother either had ABP or Anthracite, and I have seen maybe 3 or 4 RRP 3G TL's in total Maybe I should've just ponied up the cash to paint my car like my photoshopped avatar

I have seen 2 DMM cars one in my city and another in the neighboring city. An older women drives it, I'm slowly noticing more TLs in my area but still very rare to see any 3G TL's since the majority are Infiniti's, BMW's and Mercedes. But mine always grabs the attention since its a RRP with the OEM chrome wheels.

I orig. wanted an ABP, but none that were in my combo/price/mileage since I've seen online with the A-Spec kit on looks really nice.!
But, no luck than my RRP became available checked it out and I was SOLD!!
Since my purchase I haven't seen too many RRP in my county, let alone when I commute for visits going through LA, OC, SD counties from school.

Not a fan of the DMM. The ABP is a close second to last.

Any TL can look awesome. Even DMM, a pretty unpopular color can look stunning if done right. Member dougboy is an example.

My sister used to have an 04 ABP/Camel TL and I absolutely loved the color combo on that car.

The most popular car colors will always be white, black, silver. People aren't bold. Almost every TL I see is silver, black, or gray.

I'm praying that Carbon Blue Metallic since I'm about to get that painted on my car in the next week or so will look good our cars as it is a dark blue in the sunlight and black at night.

YES! ebony interior would make that car way too dark/small feeling.

camel interior makes the inside bright and large feeling and provides a nice contrast to blue (parchment and grey are too white).

I had originally wanted RRP/Camel, but would have had to order, and wait for a while. The salesman said there was ABP/Camel on a truck coming the next week, so that's what I did. When I was a kid, a tan leather interior always meant "luxury" to me, so, now that I'm grown up, that's what I got. The only other ABP/Camels I've seen are on AZ, not a single other one in Camel, in person. I really like the contrast against the black of the interior.

Meh. I have ebony in my TL and is really isn't too bad as the headliner is still light gray. I like it because it hides all kinds of dirt on the carpet and leather.
But the blue/tan combo is worthy.

^^ +!. One time I went to a wedding at a winery. When I walked back to my car, there were a group of people standing at my car, asking how I got my car too shine/luster so much. (It was dark, and I was parked near a street lamp)

So I told them my story about how I wash/clay/wash/wax and what products I used. They told me that my TL which was a few years old at the time, shined/lustered more than the cars still inside the dealers showrooms did.
