TL-S has been to the dealer four times in the past 4 months for the SRS light coming on. Anyone else seen this? The NHTSA has a report on file for this issue from another owner.

Yes, in a 2000 TL. Many times back to dealer to have replace sensor replaced. bit of a pain, but seems to have been cleared up after ... 3rd? 4th? visit.

Um, mods, can this be moved to 2nd gen forum?

 

On my 2000 TL, the SRS red light was on. Took it to my dealer and they said a sensor was defective. Replaced the same day. Problem cured. Haven't seen the light stay on now for two weeks since the service. By the way they covered it on warrantee (I don't have any extended warrantee).

 

I did not know there was a TLS for 2004. Cool, what are the specs?

 

I had the SRS light issue in my '01 CL-S. It drove me crazy. The dealer kept resetting the sensor and it kept coming back on. Finally, dealer replaced the sensor which fixed the problem. Only thing is they ruined my seat trying to replace the sensor and had to replace a seat which is now obviously newer looking than the driver's seat.
