I have a BIG hole in my passenger seat. I'm going to replace it, but figured might as well go with replacing my whole interior with seat covers from leatherseats.com.

Anybody seen 2-tone interiors with 2 colors that are not much similar in tones? (like the Type-S)

I have parchment color scheme. Which my seats are "light tan" or whatever it's called.

I thought of MAYBE getting Black/sandstone covers. But realized I could really only get Sandstone/Black instead (with the centers being black).

This is because the leather skins that I'd buy would ONLY be around the seats MINUS the "back panel" that we have where the "pocket" thing is in the back that retracts.

But I don't think sandstone with black centers would look that "fluid" afterall....

That's what leatherseats.com calls the "tan" color for my car that they sell.

This is from their eBay auction, an image in which they claim is from using THEIR leather skins replaced. I talked to the guy on the phone and he said this as well, but it's hard for me to believe that what's pictured is actually from their skins.

I don't have Photoshop, but could anyone use that above picture and "color" the middle black? So I could get an idea of what I'd be looking at?

I would rather have black with the center "tan" but since I would have to reuse the BACK of my stock seats that would be "tan" it wouldn't look right.

FYI: This can be done, covers will run about $900 to $1200 w/o installation, which can be done DIY. I'm toying with the idea on the TL.

hey XIV did you consider just swapping out the entire interior to black? bruce aka ack05tl recently did the same for me. i had the exact same issue and just realized that replacement cost to fix the damages is close to if not more than just swapping out the entire interior. I have an 05WDP w/ tan interior with holes on leather and headliner so I came across Bruce who had black panels and seats. so what i did was swapped those out, sueded the headliner (which bruce actually did as well) and the car had a nice two tone touch with the tan and black. i subsequently did some work to it myself and just converted the whole thing black except the carpet and lining. PM me your email and i can share some pics with you if you like. But I am sure if you contact Bruce he can help you out, and i can def. speak for his superb quality of work.

Same here. Decided to keep it all tan and just get new carpet all black (like the BMW schemes).
