Any good body work members out there??? UGH!!!

To my dismay, this morning I came out to notice a fairly sizable limb had fallen on my TL....upon initial inspection I only found a small scratch on the side...no big deal.

However I just glanced out the window to my TL below and noticed a half-dollar sized divot right in the center of the roof!!!! The best way to describe it is it looks like a golf ball fell on the roof.

I have a bad suspicion that this type of blemish is VERY expensive to repair.....I imagine they are going to have to repaint the whole roof to get it to match up, right??

To repair a roof, you pull the dent, fill, primer and blend the base color in the spot, you will need to clear coat the entire roof panel to the nearest body lines so that the clear won't peel back over time. It might not be that costly but it isn't just a quick pull and squirt

If it didnt go through the paint use a dent repair guy. I recently got a dent in my door the dent doctor came to the house removed the dent completely you can't tell it was ever there. The last thing I wanted to do was start matching paint.

Try them first as they can do wonders as long as the dent is accessible. There are some areas around the door handle that can't be accessed on some vehicles, but the roof should pose no problem.
You'd be amazed as to what they do for the dealers.

If you need a body shop and want to travel a short distance, take a look at B&B in Clinton, NJ. They did our WDP TL and the daughter's Hemi Grand, and if you read some replies you'll find that I'm pretty picky. Did a beautiful job and matched the front bumper with the body perfectly, and the Inferno red on the daughter's can't be beat. I live across the river from New Hope (Stockton) and they are about 40 minutes from me, then add about 25 minutes from Doylestown, @ 1 hour. About 1/4 mile from Clinton Acura.
Good luck.
