I searched and could not find a thread..
I want to replace the upper windshield molding. Would rather not take it to a shop if it is really simple considering i already have the part.

 

It's in the shop manual. Download the shop manual. PM me if you can't find the shop manual to download.

I have the 07-08 service manual but the drawings make it look sort of complex...

I need to replace my upper windshield reveal molding too. The service manual says it's installed on the windshield with adhesive tape before the windshield is installed on the car.

I know. Old thread, but maybe I'll get some help.

 

Hey, did you find a solution? I just got a 2021 ilx a-spec. I went to a dealer and got the molding and they said to go to Safelite. Safelite said that would need to replace the entire windshield. My molding is brittle on both ends, it's nothing serious.
