Any 2005 owners with confirmed driveline vibration?
I'm still wondering if the 2005 TL's are experiencing the same driveline vibration problem between 50-60 mph as the 2004s? Can any 2005 owners weigh in on this with some specific experiences?

Test drove 2005 6M...
Not an owner YET...my car is being built and will be here around the 22nd. BUT, if it helps at all, I test drove a 2005 6M the other day and did not feel the driveline vibration at all. I was specifically looking for it and made every effort to drive it in the 1500 RPM range. Granted it was only a 5-10 minute drive, but it was smooth as silk. If I remember correctly, I don't believe the driveline issue was transmission specific so the fact that I drove a 6M shouldn't matter.

I picked up my '05 (5AT) earlier this week. I actually test drove three 04's and two 05's (all automatics, non-navi) while I was shopping around. All three of the 04's had the vib between 50 and 60. Two of them were noticeable but not too bad, but the third felt like someone fired up a jackhammer somewhere in the front end of the car as soon as you hit 50MPH (scared the sh*t out of both myself and the salesman when it started). All three of the 04's that I test drove had VIN's above 70,000.
As far as the two 05's that I test drove, neither of them had the vib between 50 and 60, but both of them had a noticeable vib through the steering column, floorboards, and gas pedal in-between 2100 and 2200RPM in all gears (with it being more prominent in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd). One of two was much worse than the other, while the other was barely noticeable. I ended up purchasing the one that had the barely noticeable vib but am now sort of regretting it as the vib has gotten progressively worse over the 120 miles that I have put on the car in the past couple of days.
So I guess from my experience, Honda/Acura has fixed the vehicle speed related vib that was in the 04's but replaced it with an engine speed related vib in the 05's. I'm going to give it a couple hundred miles to see if it maybe improves, but if it continues the way it is now, I guess I'll be making an early trip to the dealer.

It's my second week on 05 TL and I have not noticed it yet. But again with traffic in the morning and after work it's hard to get up to 60 mph. I will pay more attention now and will let you know.

Makes me sick to even talk about it!

Mine just started...I now have 13105 miles, I have an Appt with the dealership for them to "fix" it on wednesday. I bought it with 8k a few months ago and have not experianced any real problems with vibrations but I guess my luck has run out.

Not really, it is an intemittent vibration that starts around 65 mph some times it vibrates...sometimes it does not. I can slow down below around 50 and it stops and when I speed back up it will return sometimes and sometimes it does not. This one is weird!!!
Here is the thread I started on it a couple of days ago.

I have an '05' and experience vibration while accelerating through the 1800-2200 rpm range.
I took it to my dealership and was told my heat shield was missing. The new heat sheild didn't stop the vibration.
