That's where I got mine too. You can get it through ebay or call them on the website.

The attention you get from them is quite unreal. I had a guy run across a grocery parking lot just to tell me my headlights look, "badass!" hahaha.

Looks like you're gonna need to order those ballasts now.

Mine are on ALL THE TIME... As in they come on with switched power. I drive 3+ hours a day 5-6 days a week. I figure that's near 40+ hours of continuous use at this point. Mine are still going strong FWIW.

ebay has crap angel eyes, the quality is as bright or even considerably near umnitza brand angel eyes. I would email them, i was there first project car, and they customized it for me, so they do have the TL angel eyes.

The ebay angel eyes for the TL are made and supported by Umnitza...
Th problem is the cheap ballasts they supply, which are known to fail early if they're gonna fail. This is well documented on the BMW forums.

In 99 out of 100 cases, installing the weatherproof ballast from vibelights.com fixes the outtage problem forever.

That's the one...
I must give credit where credit is due, though. Rockyfeller pointed them out to me first.

Thank u, Mr. Google help me find the vibelights inverters. Brian, since both of yours are out it is starting to become apparent that it's got to be your inverters and not the rings or wiring. If so, it's an easy fix. The only not fun part is pulling your bumper again.

If anyone else wants to know where to get em here's the listing:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Acura...spagenameZWD1V

It's made by Umnitza but distributed by lightwurkz. I know they are not listed on Umnitza's site. My hunch is they are made for another type of car but Umnitza dosen't know they fit the TL. Lightwurkz measured and knows it'll fit so they made the listing. Best quality ones you can buy.

Yikes... where'd you mount those ballasts? Mine are double stick taped to the inner fenderwell, easily accessible from the hood without removing the bumper.

The Ebay link says "Acura TL 03 05 Angel Eyes Kit, HALO, Demon eyes, custom." Do they work on '06. I would assume the answer is yes, but I thought here would be a good place to get the right answer.

Yes it will.. for the 07+ its different because you need 4 rings instead of 2

I'm slowly starting to think that it's not the inverters cause my car was in the rain/snow overnight and it didn't work the next day..

but you guys keep telling me that they're waterproof. so i'm a bit confused.
my left headlight is a complete mess, so much moisture is getting into the headlight that the water is now starting to bead, as in droplets of water are forming, not just the mist that appears when condensating.

I'm going to have to order a new left headlight, there's a big gap somewhere, almost my whole headlight is covered in mist.

Yikes. I still think it's the ballast though.
If you have a leak though, you gotta fix that.

Car washing, and 2 serious rainstorms last week... Mine are still clean. :fingercrossed:

Wow Brian, the headlights are really screwed?!? I got a light misting because of a violent carwash but never any other problems with my headlights (opened for the 2nd time) and my angeleyes are perfect. How can that much water be getting in? It was sealed the way it should be. I think the culprit is the switchback opening. The day I sealed it was damn cold and I don't think the silicone cured well. I wanted to let it sit overnight after sealing it up but we had to send you off and the job was kind of rushed at the end. Send me pics of where the water is forming. A new headlight will cost ya. I think if I take a look at it, it can all be fixed but it will take time.

Kennedy, I mounted the inverters below the headlights round about where the ballasts for the headlights are and they are taped away. I figured it would be high and dry around there. It's a pretty safe bet, they're just fine on my car like that. You could get in through the fenderwell but it would be better to get full access to the wiring and everything to make sure it is sound. Just wish it was warmer out. I think in another month it will be doable.

I need to order those ballasts someday. I put mine wayyy up on the ledge behind the headlights, which is rather inconvenient to access, but should stay dry.

btw, I had a hell of a time finding that quick grip stuff. I found it at Meijers. Walmart doesn't carry them anymore according to several employees.

Take the headlight clearing process (and the amount of time to do that), and add about another 30 minutes to glue the rings to the bezel, drill the hole, and run the wiring out of the headlight.

Thena nother 20/30 minures to wire em up.

Rock, the switchback holes i s plausible, as is the wiring hole that the angel eye wiring is run through is another plausible leak place.

For sure, Brian is a good guy and I take pride in my work and reputation. I just wish it was not winter and I had time to do it nowadays. Plus Brian lives 149,244 miles away. We'll take care of it, you'll see it at the meet for sure.

All we have to do is convince Kennedy to take a drive up to NY in the summer for the meet so we can have angel-eyes in full effect. You guys live close enough, caravan up!.......
