Dumb question, but would someone tell me how to access the air filter? I looked through the manual and cannot find it. TIA

The in cabin air filter??? Here are instructions on how to remove the glove box in this thread:

As for the one in the engine... It's to the right if you're looking at the front of the car.

Check this thread for "some" info

Someone could post the appropriate pages. I have an electronic version of the 2005 TL service manual, but no means to post pages. Hope this helps.

Oh that's a no-no... Copyrighted material.... The whole book that is. I leave the individual page postings to the mods, and rightfully so.

No for me!

Edited: I read wrong and asked the wrong person. This is the corrected version.

Can you explain what is involved here?

We went through this a few months ago. Another member had scanned the entire service manual and offerred to host it on his own web site, but the administrators said this was illegal and could open us up to lots of legal problems, so we didn't do it.

We don't see a problem with posting individual pages in response to specific questions, but not the entire manual.

I would still like to know what you have in mind, though. If you prefer, you can send me a PM.
