HousePro, I got this pedal from www.UltimatePedals.com.

Then I put a Type S badge on it to bring out the color...

Great people to work with. I know they carry the accelerator and brake pedals too. Plus, you can make them to look any way you want to. They will also put the ACURA logo on the pedals too.

Can you buy the TypeS logo that goes on the back of the car and have it fitted in the foot rest pedal? I think that would be pretty nice.
Yes it is 59 shipped for all three...Clutch, brake, Accel. No dead pedal however but IMO thats a good deal and the pedals are pretty good quality. My friend had a set on his old SI. They felt fine hence why I will be getting a set for the TL.

You sure can Phil. Here is a picture of Bearcat's Type S badge fitted into the Dead Pedal by Ultimate Pedals.

As you can see, he went with the rubber tips on his (to match the brake pedal). I opted for the no-rubber tips. Plus, I also got the flanged pedal. The flanged pedal means it has a lip on the right hand side, so you don't see the OEM pedal underneath.

haha, sorry I got carried away with excitement. But my wife acts like the Treasury department... so I must get funding approval for my expenses.
ok back to the pedals... if i want that setup, do i buy the badge at acura send it to them, and they get it done, or they already have a template?
i would personally opt for the rubber and flanged to match factory pedals...
I'm so happy about this find, I was so irritated with the lame looking footrest and that it is sitting further forward than the gas pedal, which to me isn't comfortable. This will fix both of those things.
Steven; I'll have to look into your setup with the footwell lights too, I really wish the TL had that from the factory.

Phil,
You CAN send Ultimate Pedals a Type S logo and they'll insert it for you. But call them and talk to Rob. He's the man who can set you up. He might not need you to send him a badge. He's done this a few times, so he might have the mold and set-up already. Once he finishes your pedal, you'll just insert the Type S badge into the pedal and you're set. Be sure to select the finish you want for your pedal too.
Here's a little teaser of the front footwell lights.

Buddy, about your wife. I don't mean to be rude, but when you get married, if you set things up the way you do, you should have an automatic line of credit. If she's the Treasury Department, you should have signing privileges.

Just to add my
into this, in some relationships, it necessary to have one person manage the money for reasons that others wouldn't understand, its necessary for people to communicate what they are spending money on so you can get a different perspective on the purchase and as well, it is necessary to have some compromise to keep a happy atmosphere. Some may called a person like this
; but in reality they are people that are easy to be aroundAnd just as a warning, if you wish to elaborate on it more, keep it civil, anyone fighting will get banned this time.
I didn't meant to say you disrespected anyone!!!
I just put the warning in there so ignorant people wouldn't mess up a good thread. Also I was just putting in my thoughs, after all its a public forum to share our thoughts, right?

You are correct! Thanks for your input. As far as the Dead Pedal goes, I really like the way all 3 pedals match now. I didn't get my Type S logo embedded into the pedal because I did it after I received the pedal. But I just put it on top of the existing pedal, which still has the same kind of effect. I like the way Bearcat's looks, but with the flange on it!
Does the pedal come with a new set of screws? Do you just use the factory ones?
And about the wife thing. It was mostly a joke really but the truth is neither of us spends any money without talking to the other first. Also she is significantly more financially savvy than I am. So for a 60 dollar pedal, who cares but man am I happy she is around for bigger financial decisions. I also know myself well and I know I spend money on stupid gadgets which I end up regretting so she talks me through stuff and if I can reason a purchase then it's fair game.

Yes, Ultimate's website has many different finishes of pedals, so you can match it up perfectly.

I got mine from Excelerate.com Ask for Joshua Lockwood. I believe he's the owner. Awesome guy also by the way. You can basicly get anything you're for aftermarket wise. He usually can get his hands on anything.
