ok i know there are like a thousand threads on this but mine is differnt....I know a hand full of people have the aem intake in cali, and i was wondering if they could get it for me early, i would even pay them $50.00 just for doing it. iam serious i would like to get 1/4 mile times and i think this will help alot..... thanks

Just curious....why do people buy a $34,000 car, then take it to a drag strip and race it. This car is a luxury sedan, and was never designed to be a race car. If you want a race car, why not buy a Mustang, spend a lot less money and fix it up and make it as fast as you want. Acura is not a race car, never was, and never will be. It was designed to be driven sportly, but not raced at a drag strip. I know I'll get flamed for this, but I don't care......our car's were never designed to be a 1/4mile race car.

 

No flaming, but I guess everyone has their own thing. I've already taken mine to the strip just for kicks. While I was out there, I saw everything from four wheelers to harleys go down the track. I would venture to say that they're not made for it either. But, its just FUN. Nothing more, nothing less. To each his own, ya know?

By the way, I love my Injen!

 

I'll sell you my AEM intake for 300 bucks, its the prototype intake from AEM for this vehicle.....

Its sitting in the storage room in the garage....
