Advice for buying a 2004 TL?
Hi,
I'm new to the forum and don't really know much about Acuras. I've been eying the TL for quite some time and am really considering picking one up.
I found a 2004 model for about 13,500 with 88k miles and it comes equipped with navi. It has a clean title and is absolutely gorgeous. My concern, though, is whether or not this is a good buy?
I remember reading somewhere that TLs require many replacements at the 80k mile mark? If so, which ones should I ask the seller about whether or not he has performed any of the services. Also, would you have any other advice for someone in the market (questions to ask the seller, what to look for, etc)?
Thanks!

If you like it and it's in your price range. I'd say go for it.
The 105k miles service is coming up. That includes water pump, timing belt, spark plugs, etc. Maybe it's already done. You never know.
Ask for maintenance records. Oil Changes, Transmission Fluid Changes, stuff like that.

some dealerships run specials on that....you would have to contact your local acura dealership to see what they charge...welcome to the azine train....enjoy the ride!!
The price is around $1000 including parts and labor. Like others have said, some dealers run specials. You can also save money by getting it done at a Honda dealer because their labor rates are lower.
