I have an 07 TL. I upgraded the fogs to 5000k HID's recently, and they turned out to be an awesome color and almost make my 4300k main beams look crappy.. I am getting 5000k switchbacks and want to change the headlight bulbs to 5000k to match. I just need help finding a good website to purchase these from. I dont want to pay over a hundred on just bulbs, yet i dont want cheap pieces of sh** that don't work. Any suggestions??

 

Many people have had good results with the morimotos, they're available in 5 or 6k..

since you don't want to break the bank you can try these, otherwise i'd recommend the osram cbi's

 

Thats exactly what I was gonna say, I got those same bulbs and they have been great so far. I did do the ZKW lens swap though...

 

^what both of them said. i did the same thing on mine. 5k hid, 5k fogs, 5k switchbacks.

 

hey man i have my tl with the aspec bumper im trying to get a pair of fogs for it cant find them and the hid kit for the headlights possibly let me know if you can i thought the car had stock hids

 

Website is posted about for The Retrofit Source for bulbs. Our cars from 04-08 come stock with HID lighting. All you need is D2S bulbs to swap out. The saying goes, you get what you pay for really apply to HID's. You buy cheap bulbs you deal with problems.

That looks big different!! Did you just change the bulbs or you have to put the ballast to?

 

hey breck or anyone else for that matter, i was just wondering before i upgrade to 5k fogs and heads from morimoto, are the hid fogs overbearing to the point that they blind people? also what switchbacks did you go with?
