I have the stop-tech ceramic's as well and they are really not that good unless they are warmed up. The squeal quite a bit when starting up so I'm going to get the Project Mu Type NS next time as they have a stronger bite/less brake dust and good braking in cold/warm weather. I have these on a 07 type s and found the OEM brembo's braked a lot better just too much dust. This is just my opinion after only 6 months of use with the stop-tech ceramics.

Acurazine brake system

I was told that the ceramic pads were better for the track..as they have to be heated up to provide the braking needed on the track...I was also told that the the cross-drilled rotors were prone to cracking around the drilled holes...guess we'll have to wait and see huh?....lol..

Yeah thats true, I'm using the slotted brembo rotors as I hear cross drilled wear the brakes out faster (I could be mistaken).

heres the brakes I want next...

Have you Bed-in the pads and rotors?
I just installed my slotted and stoptech pad this past weekend, but haven't got around to bedding them in since the car still in storage.

Did you do the actual "Bed-In" procedure or did you just install the brake rotors / pads and drive normally?

Yup my mechanic made sure that I did, so I did some research and followed this guide for pads. As for rotors, Brembo has a pamphlet to follow how to bed in procedure.
