Acura symbol

i was sitting in my car the other day waiting for my girl and i was starring at the acura emblem, has anyone noticed before the A is just the H off the honda emblem made thinner at the top and spread out at the bottom and if you take a good look at it its just an H

The Acura logo is actually an upright stylized caliper. It is meant to represent the commitment to excellence and the accuracy with which Acura's are built and engineered.

I remember years ago people were saying that the emblems for Acura, Infiniti and Lexus were created to represent their slice of the luxury market pie in the US.
