Thinking about getting this remote starter installed. Are there additional parts that need to be installed? (2005 Acura TL) I guess I'm looking for remote starters that don't require additional "parts" installed. Are there any?

I have the Viper 5701 and I love it. You lose a couple features such as the "Driver 1 / Driver 2", Headlights going off automatically when locking, etc.

 

I have the 5101A smartstart. I'm not sure what the A stands for, maybe Canadian version. It's the best autostart/alarm system I've ever bought for a car. Unlimited range, end of story.

 

What extra parts, costs factored into the installation?

 

wow adding remote start will disable the locking that turns off lights and stuff. is there anyway to keep all the features without loosing any at all? i love the lights turning off and all that good stuff the memory 1 and 2 dont really matter to me.
