How accurate is the Acura website inventory? I mean the one where you built your TL and request a quote by choosing which dealer and it shows if it's available, not available or the time frame when it's supposed to come in.

Is it possible for a dealer to have a TL coming in soon and not show on that inventory?

 

When I was looking for a TL, I found the online inventory to be pretty accurate (at least for dealers in the Bay Area). Unless someone buys the car listed one or two days before your search, I think it's update to date.

 

I know the Nissan/Infiniti online inventory is accurate.
Honda/Acura should have a better system so customers can see if a car they ordered is coming to their dealership so the customer will know if the dealer is lying or not.

 

My understanding is that the online inventory includes cars that are already sold. Looking for a 5AT/Navi a couple months ago, I found that most of the cars listed as in inventory actually reflected orders placed for other purchasers and that the number on the lot and available for sale was like 1 or at best 2 of perhaps 7, 8, or 9 listed in the inventory.

 

where is this inventory? how do you access it?

 

Go to the Acura website and build your Acura. Than when your done building go to the "request a dealer quote". Enter your information and continue. A list of dealerships will show up.
