ACURA Loyalty Program on 'certified'

So I had a call from one of the 'many' Acura sales people that I've dealt with and she tried to 'build' a deal for me out of the blue.

Let's take a look at my current scenario and what she suggested I
ought to consider:

my current 08 TL-S 6MT at approx. 92000km ~ 57000 miles.
-currently financed through Honda Finance at 2.9%
-paying $595cdn a month
-remaining term: 35months.
-CPO Warranty expiration: Aug 2014

She suggested to look into a lower mileage ACURA and finance it
for 3yrs using the loyalty rate:
-loyalty rate lowers whatever advertised rate by 2points.
so...2.9% would go to 0.9%... 1.9% would go to 0.1%.
-she threw some cars at me like an 09 TSX or also an 08 TL tech that had substantially lower mileage yet would net me the same payment per month as the above TL-S and on a 3yr term. (so similar term)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with my TL-S but with its current mileage being at 92000km ~ 57000miles and a total amount owing of approx. $19900 at 2.9%, the acura chic was trying to tell me I was 'upside down' . However, there are not many TL-S vehicles on sale here ... and could easily sell it for $21-22K for it if I sold it privately.

in all honesty, I probably wont do anything but that loyalty rate is an amazing sell... considering if I went for one of the cars she mentioned at 0.01%, I would pay those chumps at HONDA FINANCE a whooping $4 in interest over the 3yr term.

and she's just doing her job I guess... however creative she may be.

I'm guessing they just want your TL-S...

Just yesterday in the mail I got an offer from the dealership that I bought the car from, as well as one I've had it serviced at, telling me my car is in high demand and they were trying to get more in stock. When I test drove a '10 SH AWD for fun a couple weeks ago, even though I told them I didn't think I was trading it in, at least half the discussion revolved around my car and how they wanted to get it from me.

In short, I think a TL-S is an incredibly easy and quick sell for a dealership, as compared to any of the newer Acuras.

08 tls 6mt? Don't sell it man, that's the newest year with the rare 6mt. 57k miles is nothing... It's still a baby trust me.
