What are our front bumpers made of? I have an 06 and want to know what material it is made from.

Definitely not ABS, that's a rigid type plastic. Most bumpers are made of flexible type plastics. Honda most likely uses a TPO or some type of urethane, both are flexible plastic. Some may categorize TPO as a urethane also. If you look at the underside of the bumper their should be material markings. One thing I like about Honda/Acura is their bumpers come primed.

bumpers that flex or bend and dont crack when u move them are poly....abs is hard plastic and fiberglass is hard too......i wouldnt get anything thats made from fiber or abs. one lil tap from anything and that thing is cracked.

yea but not kind u put on wood floors! LMAO! I have a feeling someones gonna chime in and go "oh i polyed my floors this weekend.....maybe i can make a bumper too"
