Accident detection (04 TL owners help)
Hi all,
Just bought an 04 Acura (certified) from a dealer. I feel like i'm getting screwed new because I'm noticing things wrong with it that I didn't see it. The main thing is that in the inside of the trunk I noticed that the paint is not running smooth which makes me think that it was in an accident.
Anyone with an 04 TL: Can you check if that the paint on the inside (near the tail lights) goes from smooth to rough.

I have an 04 and the horizontal part is rough, and it looks like it has some kind of plastic coating running about 6" towards the front of the car, and both sides seem to be shaped the same, with a little notch towards the front like a step or something, so it must serve some purpose.
