what you meant "kicks in when complete there is no need at all"? What kind of surface of roads? conditions?

Do you drive Honda's vehicles before?

Thanks...

If there is no need for the ABS why are you pressing the brake pedal all the way down?

The whole point is that they kick in when I dont push the breaks all the way down, numerous times they have kicked in on simple light breaking on dry conchrete roads. This is my first Acura, but I cant imagine this being normal.

How new is your car? For the first 5-600 miles my brakes were really grabby, but then they loosened a bit. Since the TL has a "brake assist" deal, if it is truly the ABS which is maximum braking power then you may have a malfunction with the electronical components or CPU of this brake assist. A trip to the bastards (aka dealership) may be an order.
