ABS problem on dyno
Tried to get some Dyno runs in today with the new FMIC & 95 octane gas. Had a ABS malfunction that was causing issues with the runs.
My base line was down from 319whp to 295whp. That being said the Map6 runs produced 375whp up from a clean run 365whp last fall. Not really sure what the car is making now but the new delta with the ABS messing it up is 80whp with only the new IS map 6 & an ETS 5” FMIC on an otherwise pure stock car..
This was the same dyno & same ambient temp as the original base line & JB-4 Map 2 runs last fall.
Any thoughts would be appreciated

That is ridiculous, I've heard these motors love a 50/50 mix of e85 and 93 oct pump gas...I've been trying to get my buddy to try it out on his N55 but it seems as though the N54's love more octane, probably due to the fact that the motor is pretty decently high compression wise and the more octane the less the timing you have to pull in fear of detonation.

The word I got from Terry Burger was to ignore the ABS warning as its not uncommon when the front wheels are fixed with this car. Just that it had never happened to me before on a dyno & I did not want to break anything.
He also suggested for a hero run using fifth gear to let boost fully build, all things being equal should be another 10+ whp in the car. Real happy with the numbers with just a JB4 & FMIC on the stock motor, about $1100 all in.
When I asked about E85 it was recommended to keep it under 30% at the pump or 40% total considering the 93 has 10% already in it. Also IIRC adding E85 without a piggyback or flash was not a good plane because the car needs to deliver more fuel volume.
