Hey guys, I am about to order the Versus Motorsport bodykit. Seems like no body on this forum has it yet so I guess I will be the guniea pig.

Just before I order, I would like some opinion from you guys.

Does anyone know if Versus motorsport bodykit is good quality? I do not want to buy cheap knock offs and ruin the look of the TL.

If you have any experience with Versus motorsport, please feel free to give your opinion.

What do you guys think of the Versus bodykit anyways?

None of the threads have a poll for opinions though.

yeah i have read all the threads regarding the versus kit. However I still haven't heard from anyone regarding the quality of products from this company.

I don't want to buy something that looks cheap and would not fit perfect on my TL.

I can't comment on the fitment quality of the versus kit.

However, it does appear to be fairly good quality according to the picture.

Back in february i ordered the front bumper and ending up canceling the order.

Maybe i'll give them another call after work and see what the deal is.

I look forward to your feedback on the kit, I figured it was vaporware... Perhaps they are actually shipping these days.

That aside, I think it's a bit gaudy... and way to riceboy. You need lots more stickers, a large tailfin, and a fake blow off valve sound maker to go with that setup.

To me, the design of the front bumper takes away the fluidity of the shape. It doesn't look as sleek and lux anymore.

Looks like a big aftermarket splitter to me.

Look at the lower left corner of the bumper. It stick out like 3 inches or so... ugh.

That big hole in the bumper is perfect for an intercooler, but there's nothing for that available, no turbo, and introducing enough tubing to use an intercooler for the Comptech SC would bring so much lag it would negate the benefit...

IMO it looks too aggresive on the TL. But compared to what else is out there, the a-spec is almost not enough, the ronjon is perfect.

It looks good, but I would not get it because these cars are not civic's or integra's. You will mess up the classy look and I hate when the bumper gets beat up from city roads. One thing I do like is the carbon fiber hood they offer, and I would possibly get that. One thing to remember is that it is your car and you should do whatever floats your boat. So if you like than go for it

It may look ricey in pictures, but all you guys who think it looks ricey are trippin'. I think i saw that car in person, even drove it- It is supercharged and it was at the church's automotive, where I met doug from hondata. He let me drive it while my car was being reprogrammed. I took a bunch of pictures, but I still haven't found out how to post them. It looked classier than mine, looked like a million bucks. carbon fiber hood and tail lip spoiler look really good.

I'm actually looking at that double sided carbon fiber hood from them ... that's the exact hood on the red car that I want for my black 06 TL. It's going to cost me $707 shipped ($500 for the hood itself). Would anyone want to buy it off me for like $600 obo + shipping if I decide I do not like the look and don't drive with the hood on my car for long ???? I asked them 1,000 questions about the hood so I know all about it ... PM me if your interested in getting the hood off of me or have any questions about the hood. I might start a seperate feeler thread about the issue as well.

i agree with what some others have said - based on that picture alone it does look a bit "ricey," but from far away and with a different angle, i could see how it might look better. Once those other pics get posted up, I think all of us will be able to make a much better judgement on the looks of the kit.

I'm an expert at picture posting!....

Here is the sequence.

1) Load pictures from camera into computer.
2) go to www.imageshack.us
3) Click browse.
4) Find the image.
5) Click Host it!
6) Copy the direct link
7) Go to your post on Acurazine.
8) Click on the yellow box with the mountain.
9) Paste the link.
10) Preview post and make sure it works.
11) Submit Reply.
12) Done.

Try it out and see if it works....i would love to see your pictures.

I cant believe this, you guys wont. My girlfriend erased ALL my pictures. No Church's automotive, no doug@hondata dynoing my car, no crazy tl with the body kit, no bunch of rice rockets w/ turbos being tuned. Im really ashamed! I feel like a liar. Theres no pictures of cars in my camera memory. My gf said she erased them, to have more room for pics @ her moms b-day. WTF. Those were really cool, unique pictures. Damn!!!!! Cant express enough anger through typing. F*CK! Anyway, flame on!
