About to hit 5,000 miles

Is there any maintanince to do at 5k miles? besides oil and oil filter? I don't have the owners manual, I just wanna do it on time and save up before the time comes. So whats the first thing that needs to be replaced?

Nothing needs to be replaced at 5,000 miles. Go by the MID for your oil change, and when it shows the A service, that's all you will need is an oil and filter change. Possibly a tire rotation also, but that should be it.

Dump the ATF and refill (not a flush).

MID is the information display on the lower right of your instrument panel. When maintenance is necessary, it will show a message as well as a little outline of an envelope indicating that there is a message. The MID will let you know to change the oil when 15% oil life remains.
The transmission oil change is an optional maintenance step some people take and some don't. It's more common for the manual transmission because some people have found that the transmission shifts more smoothly with new fluid. There are a series of threads on the transmission fluid issues.
Do a search for the MID in this forum; there are lots of things related to the MID if the salespeople didn't tell you about it (auto door locking and interior lighting presets, gas mileage, range, temperature, HFL, maintenance, etc.). It may be worth it to buy the little user's guide and/or manual as well.

My MID hasn't said anything yet other than oil life, and I have 6200 miles.

Did you buy new? The dealer should have walked you through the service notifications on the MID.

Dump the ATF every 5K if you're paranoid...

Otherwise, go 30K (or 20K if you're conservative)...
