well me and frank (2k3TLS) rolled up on this meredes last night and I didn't expect to race but it just ended up that way.

I just tried to pass him and he started going faster so I did, and we both kinda took off. he pulled on me but not by that much I think it was maybe a 1/4 car length. then we got into some traffic and eventually came toe to toe at a light. he was revving waiting for the light and I kinda was but not really.

light turns green and we hit it. I had a bad freakin start and wheel hop like a mother fucker. I miss shifted into second and even with all of that I was only half a car behind. came around a little more traffic then took off. he pulled on me but not as much as I would have thought.

while racing this guy frank pulled up his car specs on wikipedia and to our surprise he's got 349 hp twin screw supercharged v6, and I forget how much torque but way more than my car.

don't get me wrong, I did lose but it wasn't by much. and im sure that guy was wondering how the hell a tl with car seats (no children were in the car) was able to keep up.

I need to eliminate this wheel hop though and figure why my clutch lines keep getting air in them.

lol.... well it seems I either have a bad slave cylinder or a leaky clutch master cylinder. I just got home and dont feel like toying with the beast.

Wheel hop has been addressed...... need better motor mounts.

im thinking you mean C32 amg not CL32. you raced the 4 door right? one of my buddies has one and i "raced" him once. i got raped by like ten bus lengths... that thing FLIES. sounds pretty amazing too.

Remember guys I didnt say I won. His car was obviously faster. I was just surprised at how little he won by, and that was with a really bad start.

Maybe its because I have no cat and headers and ghetto intake lol...... but whatever it was he was trying and he didnt win by much.

I think there 0-60 time is like 5.5 or something like that.

5.5? I doubt it. Those things are s/c. I read the c55 boards they say the c32 are pretty much the same. head to head.

According to C&D, it should do 0-60 in 5s, 1/4mile in 13.6s.

so yeah..... you should look stuff up first

actually since my friend owns one, him and I check out the MB forums and people on there agree that C32 isn't much slower then c55. I'm not saying you were losing miserably to one I'm just saying that they run a bit quicker then the times you posted. here's a youtube link. I was surprised too. Good job on hanging with one.

^ yes thank you. many people have been seeing 0-60 in 4.5 seconds in amg forums. and low 13s in 1/4 mile bone stock.
