I parked my car at night.

The next morning when I started it the check engine light came and stayed on.

The engine sounded normal, car drove normal. I drove it straight to the dealership.

They fit me in and hooked it up to the computer. They said that the Diag code told them to run a system check, and that nothing abnormal came up. They reset the light and told me that they will be calling Acura Techline tomorrow when they are open. They also mentioned that another 04 TL had the same thing happen.

After 200 more kms, the light is still off and the car is driving beautifully. The service dept called me and told me that Techline told them that if the light comes back on, to check the actuator and the valve stem. I don't know much about cars, and the service guy told me that it has to do with the emissions system.

I'm not worried about it and am very happy with the service. It helps when the service dept is professional when these situations arise.

From what I've noticed, all luxury cars have these type of things happen from time to time.

I'm so happy with this car.
