6MT/Navi, rare or common

How rare are 6MT/navi? I heard for everyone 100 AT they produces 1 MT/navi. I wonder if they will be like the Legend coupe 6MT. Extremely hard car to find now a days.

I'm pretty sure they are more than one percent. About 15% are six speed. My guess is that the nav ratio is the same as in auto about 30%. That gives you around a 5%. Any dealer on this site can give you the right number. I have one!

Production may come in waves

I don't know how accurate this is, but my dealer told me that the factory produces TL's in waves - for example, a couple of weeks may be nothing but AT's, followed by MT's, followed by AT's w/ Navi and so on. He guessed that it would be July before he saw any MT's w/ Navi again. :banghead:

from the last poll it seems that 5AT w/Navi is the more popular navi model. i think Navi and non-Navi is 50/50 as well as 5AT and 6MT. but 6MT w/Navi is more rare, i would think about 10%.

I had been told by dealers that Acura had planned to put Navi in 1 out 4 cars due to last year's demand. But since demand now is more than they anticipated, they probably would change that in May. As far as how many come with 6mt, i don't know. If they build theses in waves??? then what effect does putting an order in do?

Also, by now when it's getting closer to time to stop building 04's, some dealers have plenty of 5AT non-Navi. You would think they would start making more with navi and/or 6mt???

My dealer told me that the Navigation was rare period, however, from the looks of their web site, half their cars are with Navigation and half without. Oh well, I just care about the 6MT, *L*.

he could be right about the navigation part being rare. i dropped my car off for oil change and walked around their lot. there was lots of TL's but most of them were non-nav. there were plenty of 6MT but none that i saw that had nav as well.
