many of us run Kaixen brand from azine sponsoring vendor- Excelerate, PM him for current azine special price

Stock is 4300k (kelvin color scale) considered ~daylight~ white with blue color
5000 is still white with a bit more blue than stock
6000 has a lot more blue and you lose some white on the road in directly front of the car, that can be bad on really dark roads

5000k would be your best all around improvement in bulbs- they pick out road signs and road lines like never before, very easy on the eyes, and look good
If you like white- stay with 4300 phillips

I think gen3 has to remove the bumper cover and possibly the light housing to make it easiest
see the Garage section on gen3 for DIY

3 clips out of the wheel well and pull the liner down ull have access then..... buuuuuuuut if you ask me the bulbs that come in the car stock are very close to the 6000k color mark. everytime someones come to me for either a bmw or acura for HIDs the correct matching color is 6000k.....ive tried matching up the colors with 4100 4300 5000 nothing matches.....6000 comes closest i wouldnt touch the stock lights unless you want to get a more exotic color dark blue purple pink- why anyone would get pink I dunno but to each his own.

6000K is a good choice, I haven't heard of anyone unhappy.
