6 speed w/navi.... Pricing??

So the MSRP for the 6 speed w/navi is $34,850 plus a $545.00 destination charge. Just wondering what you guys paid for it?

I just got a quote of $34,000 even before taxes and $6,000 for the A-spec package including installation. A total of $40,000 for this car.

Do you guys think that is a good price, Just want to know what everyone else paid ??

I live in NY....

Thanks

Hmmm, so your asking...

Hmmm, so you are asking if a $345 discount is about as good as you will get for a 6speed witrh NAVI, right? Also assuming that you have to order and wait on it, right? Yep, pretty much what we are seeing...

offered 1800 off list

but dealer added ~ 225 bucks for wheel locks mud flaps. It was end of year special, but not sure I want car until tire problem is fixed. also I find nav is pain in ass on start of car, lousy accept screen comes up and beeps. not sure I want to spend 2k extra, also voice activation although cute is really a waste stil have to touch a button, then talk, why not just go directly to control .

Think about what would happen if you didn't have to touch a button before talking. The car would be listening for commands 100% of the time. I could see if it there were a command word that would activate it though - one which would never be misinterpreted or wouldn't occur in normal speech.

Without the button, look what could happen.
"Hey, let's swing by my jobsite and see if the crew's on today." CRUISE ON. "What do you think that track's for over there?" TRACK FOUR. "Do you think anybody has called 911 for that accident yet?" DO YOU WISH TO CALL 911? "No!" "It sure it bright up there in the hills." "INSTRUMENT BRIGHTNESS UP"

(Made up, of course, but given the current state of the art, unintended things would happen).

If the navi screen is off, pressing the "talk" button once brings up the "lawyer's screen", then you press a second time to actually enter the command. I think that's what jyg is referring to.

i'm not sure if i'm following you here, but if you don't want the nav on, you don't have to press ok, and then your nav screen will stay blacked-out the whole time. is that what you mean?

From some other east coasters on this board, I think they have gotten similar discounts of roughly $800 - 1,300 off for a Navi TL. Personally, I think it's all based on what part of the country you're from. In the midwest, I can't touch a Navi TL for more than $500 off of sticker.

I think at only looking at your discount on the car, $1,395 off of sticker looks pretty darn good to me and in line with other east coasters posting on this board.
