I go 6.0 miles one way on my commute. That includes 2 stop signs, 9 traffic lights (I catch 4 of them everyday no matter what, sometimes lucky on the others), and two security gates to badge into. That's barely time to warm the oil (and not enough time in the winter). Thankfully, the Bristow construction has gotten rid of all the backups on the commutes, so I don't have to deal with that at least.
