5 at tl vs. mt GTI

this kid at my school has a manual gti n talks all this shit bout how he'll beat me in a race but never wants to race.were both stock..nevertheless, i only really see him at school n he never wants to hit the hutch during lunch..not to cyber race, but who do u think would win

That depends on what GTI it is. If it's the new one you may lose if it's older, you have the advantage unless it's a VR6.

if its a vr6 or a new 2.0T most likely he'll take you. Those things are quick.

its an 06 2.0 t and the driver is my age (17) so not experienced but i have no clue on how well he drives it

You'll win if you don't race. 17 is an inexperience age, your driver license still fresh. If you want to try, go to the track.

Just because he's 17, don't assume he's not a good driver. I was a skillful MT driver at 17, and I bet a lot of people on here were too. If he can drive you will probably lose, if not, then it should be close.

Uh huh, that's what they always think. Until few more years and think "wow that was stupid I did back then". Then why do u think a lot of fatal accidents involving teenagers? I'm not trying to teach anyone the rule of life here. Just giving advice of what I know and have seen. =)

I just meant a good shifter. I'm not talkin about goin in and out of traffic and being silly, that's just dumb. I did it once with my Accord chasing a swapped hatch but backed off real fast because it's unsafe and I'm trying to live! No more of that for me.
