I recently had the entire clutch replaced on my 06. Flywheel, clutch kit and clutch master cylinder. The car is still making noise shifting from 3rd to 4th, not the typical 3rd gear issue. I'm guessing the synchro needs to be replaced and am using GM synchromesh.


Here Acura quoted me 2000-2500 for the job. I was wondering if these type of things are cheaper in the US, we have 13% tax here in Ontario so of course it will be just not sure how much.


I'm driving to NJ in a couple weeks and will be staying with family Mon-Fri at least so I was thinking of dropping it off at a dealer there and getting the job done if they can do it within the week.


I remember reading somewhere here a member is a mechanic in NJ, does anyone know who he is and if he's still active? I will be in the Trenton area so he may not be too far from me.

Yes, Paul,is highly recommended, but keep in mind he is in Clifton which is about 70 miles or 114 KM North of Trenton.
