Zbryant1010 thank you for the great words! Hello everyone, we have decided to become a vendor here and to service the Acurazine community. We offer many TL and TL Type S Leather/Vinyl replacement covers. We build them like original in factory colors and/or can fully customize them with many options. I will be posting a great deal group buy soon if many are interested. I will be posting some more things this weekend!

Diamond stitch is when there is a quilted diamond pattern with a contrasting color thread. Just remember that the clazzio's are seat covers and go over your stock seats.
The stuff that Auto Custom Leathers offers is a replacement for the sotck material. While clazzios are nice, they cannot compare to a replacement seat leather. I'm sure they can custom make the diamond stitching if you want, they are doing it on the seats for my Escalade. Ill post pics when they arrive.

I know this isn't a 3G, but after seeing the pics that zbryant got, I was confident that Auto Custom Leathers would do a great job regardless of the vehicle.
I just got done with the 3rd row seats on my wife's Escalade - it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, and I think the TL is even easier because these stinking seats are HEAVY.
She has a black Esky with Cashmere interior. She wanted something to set the car off and I think she did a great job picking it.
Cashmere/Cocoa two tone with Cocoa piping, quilted insert with contrast stitching. Ignore the fact that its not perfectly tight yet - I just finished putting them on and haven't steamed them or manipulated them at all.
These are excellent quality and workmanship. I wish I had the talent to sew this stuff. Jerry did a great job!

Just wanted to update this thread since Jerry from Auto Custom Leather was nice enough to send me a sample of their Camel leather.

I've found it's better to compare to the surrounding plastics and not aged leather. My wife and I were a bit apprehensive about the cashmere for her Escalade, but once the stock covers were out, and the new covers in - everything looks PERFECT.
Remember, you won't have any of the original leather left to have it next to - it will only have the seat plastics and perhaps the door cards.

That doesn't look half bad!!
When I got my car, the dealer replaced the passenger side full bottom because it had a huge crack. fast forward 2.5 years, that leather is still supple as opposed to the 'leather' on the drivers side. The color match is near perfect. Probably higher quality leather too Should have gotten both sides replaced :P

Hello,
In time, all leather interiors, depending on how they were maintained get darker and shinier. Our colors are based on the original day one colors, as far as a complete set goes, it will be very consistent, partials will be flatter in color. However, a good conditioner will shine it up.
Thanks,
Jerry

Wow, very impressed with this vendor. Considering that the TL has pathetically low quality leather you are offering a much needed niche service here. I love contrast stitching, piping and diamond quilt and you offer any of those options. Awesome.
My seats are doing OK but I wish you luck, you should get plenty of business on AZine.

How difficult is it to replace the seat covers? Anyone with experience have any input?
It's either really easy or a huge PITA, right?

Whatttttt..... I traded in an 05 Accord with 300k miles for my 08 TL and I can say the leather even at 10-11 years old and a lot of wear was 10x better than what's in my TL! I already have cracks in every seat and no one ever sits in the back and I have windows tinted to 5%. The only complaint I have in the TL is the leather they used. Can't wait to reupholster the seats eventually!

Cheaper, and better quality too! I just got my front seat driver's tush replacement from Jerry. They sent me the '04 design by mistake. Apparently, his records show the '04 and '05 seating as the same single fold and the '06 as double. I had to correct that by sending him a pic so anyone who has an '05 that orders from him has to make sure they're getting the correct ones.
After installation by Paul, our master mechanic in NJ, I'll gladly post before and after pics. Stay tuned .............
