3rd Brake Light Condensation

I'm in! It was hard to do, but I did it. Traded my WDP 03 TL-S in for an Anthricite 06 MT Navi. There are several things I like better on my S. Someday I'll get to all that in another post.

I'm focused on resolving current problems with my new ride. I asked the dealer about this condensation in the 3rd brake light and they shrugged and brushed me off. I suppose this is one of those things that I have to fix myself? Any pointers?

Hmm, I bet your 2rd light housing is sitting tight against the window

I don't have this issue I guess 'cuz mine has some space between the glass and housing, and probly is ventilated properly ? but then there is a diff issue with mine which dealer did not fix - when backing up at night while looking tru back window, I get glare..

Let's see what other experienced
Congrats on the new ride! I am itching for a stick model now..Maybe wait till type S comes out next year

Funny thing is in the middle there is less condensation. There is a gap, sag in the seal where it is not touching the glass. I'm tempted to try and blow some air in through that gap.

super easy, I fixed a rattle in there myself. Just grab the rear part of the cover and pull down, the back two clips should pop, then the front two clips are kind of like hinges, continue swinging the cover down and the front clips should easily release the cover.

I removed hi mount lamp cover, installed 2 new plastic clips and fixed the metal pressure clip by "sitting" it properly into its spot - no change as far as gap between the glass and a cover

But on a positive side I never had a prob with rattles in that area!
