First I thought, maybe they mean those plastic weather guards for over the windows. Then I though, maybe they're talking about a 3" solar strip like the one on the windshield. Then to my horror, I saw the photo of the "Limo Conversion Kit", Phase 1.

Perhaps on a Maybach or Rolls Phantom, but a TL? Not even Huggy Bear would try a thing like that. He's too classy.

They're made by companies such as Garson, DAD, and Junction Produce. Some are universal kits, and some are model specific that can be pretty easily modified to fit.

I kinda like RL's.... similar to Bimmer's 5, 7 series, or Mercedez E and S Class....

Those are hidden within the window glass and you pull it up and there's a couple hook to secure it....

Also, it'll be nice to have a rear window shade....

There is nothing wrong with having curtains on you TL, that is, ofcourse, if your living in it. putting a toilet in the trunk may also be a good idea, you never know when nature is going to call...


rent a room or something man... or get some dark tints on your back windows, that will do, and your groupie will not feel that cheap you know.

yeah! you will turn some heads all right, but for all the wrong reasons.


Anyways, at the end of the day, you may mod your car anyway you like, it is only you who needs to like it.

I agree!! Window curtains are the bomb diggity.. they serve a purpose!! In Asia they are on SOOO many cars from the FACTORY!! I dont know why people here think its weird.. I think if it works and has a purpose do it!! plus in this case it looks nice.. people will always have their own opinion on everything.. oh well who cares as long as you like it.. but curtains get a thumbs up from me!!

Window curtains, as some have stated in their humble opinion, are weird at best, gay at worst. Or, just the contrary; bomb diggity at best, neat at worst.

As far as car window curtains being "bank" or "only for pimps", well I guess it all depends on where you live and what you and your friends are into. I can assure you where I live people would laugh their asses off at you if you had curtains on your car. My wife would look at me and be like WTF is that? I would reply by saying oh, PagnasTL384384783 said only pimps have these.
