I guess I'll go rebuild the kitchen sink valve now. It's been leaking and I picked up the parts on the way home from lunch; at which I decided that it was beer:00 and no more work was to happen today.

Okay ladies, tax return came in. Full aspec kit or flashpro and tune?
Leaning towards tune since I wouldn't put the kit on until mid to late summer and don't want it laying around potentially getting damaged. BUT I also don't know how many more type s nbp kits are left. BUT if I went aspec kit I don't know if I could resist tuning and it'd be a lot of cash at once. BUT... well I don't wanna miss out on the kit. BUT a month or two isn't terribly long and hopefully kits will still be available
on a side note this message makes me wish I chose the username Seymore Butts
on a side side note I see more and more fucked up things on a daily basis here

Stupid fucking kitchen sink faucet. I bought a kit to rebuild the soft goods in it to fix the leak.
It didn't work. PLUS, it seems that the POS shutoff valve under the sink has shit the bed as well and doesn't actually, you know, shut off the water flow completely anymore.
So that's up to be replaced now.
I get this nagging feeling that this little project is heading like all my other projects and I'll find myself doing drywall at 4 AM next week as shit spins wildly out of control...

FJ.. What kind of valve is that shut off valve. You might be able to adjust it. Make sure you can at least turn off the main. I almost got fucked in that regard. Main shut off valve was under 3 ft of mud and didn't completely shut off unless you turned it every last micrometer.

and that's why I changed to a quarter turn brand new ball and cock shut off main to the house in addition to being able to access the street main...

It's just one of the cheap-o, contractor special, multi turn valves. It's not even worth it to fuck around with it because it's like a $7 valve. If I need to turn off the main water supply to dick with it, I figure it's worth just chucking it in the bin and replacing it with an $8 quarter turn shutoff.
As far as I know, my main shutoff still works. But fuck knows that'll be the next thing that I find shit's the bed when I go to use it.
Meh. Whatever. That shit's for Tomorrow Joe to deal with. Today Joe went to the water park and gawked at people who shouldn't be in the swim suits that they were in. Also, gawked at people that were in the appropriate attire.
