it was MAP gas...the one that burns hot AF!
it was good though, it lit the palmetto leaves pretty easily, even when damp...then that lit the logs...
kept the fire going almost the entire time.

Havent been camping in forever! i think last time was at Grand Canyon, cant wait to take my lil dudes when they get a bit bigger! freaking love camping. in the UK they used to have this thing in High School called the "Duke Of Edinburgh Award" and part of it the drop you at one part of the countryside and you have to map navigate and camp out for a few days and get to the end point by a specific time to earn that award. its freaking awesome!

Peace River was the last time...but that's a bit more involved since you drive to a pick up spot and then Canoe down 17 miles to camp.
That would have been fun but a lot of work with 3 kids in tow.
