Around here, I'd say Asians are pretty level headed. Yeah, there are some gangsters, but that trend (as far as I know) started to decline even when I was still in high school. I remember back in the late 90s and early 00s, there was a number of slayings, but these days, it's pretty quiet.

Neither. Lots of Lebanese guys on the north end of town. They're known for having a very *interesting* mentality. Between the ages of 14-25, they live in a perpetual d*ck swinging competition.

I actually thought I should report them as being drunk drivers, but then I'd have to follow them and they'd likely take off on me anyway. I've seen young guys do some seriously stupid stuff behind the wheel. Didn't think it was worth it. That, and I didn't catch their plate. Wasn't paying attention to it, then the milkshake cup came flying and I lost my mind [internally] and ended up taking the exit...

So funny enough... I did end up fixing the problem with my noisy AC fan motor.

I thought a little bit about the problem and realized that since noise was coming *out of* the motor, it didn't matter how much oil I squirted *into* it. So I coated the whole motor with plastidip. Did the standard two light layers and then 8 heavy layers to get a good application (used red 'dip by the way because it's an exhaust fan which moves the hot air, and red is hot like fi-yah).

Turned it back on and the damn thing was still squealing. WTF.

Back to the drawing board and I made a SWOT chart. That didn't fix the problem either because I was still hearing the noise from the motor.

Then it dawned on me... I was still *hearing* the problem. So back to the garage for a can of black plastidip. Two light and then eight heavy layers of plastidip sprayed deep into my ear holes and I am proud to say I've fixed the problem!

No more squealing motor sounds!

I have to say, I felt like a regular Jeremy... Fixing problems around the house like a boss.

So I took out my car and raced up and down the street, doing donuts in the cul-de-sac, and parking on peoples lawns.

It was a good day.

Man, if I drank some big-Q, I'd be the end of the week before I knew it.

And I might start hearing the voices again. So a big "NOPE" on that suggestion. But thank you.

The good thing with cul0's plastidip solution is that he can no longer hear the boss, the students, the wife or the kids any longer either. Genius!

Adam, glad you didn't bite...
it's an age thing, not ethnicity thing...
I get people trying all the time...I don't bite either, especially with BZ in the car.

im being incredibly wacist and stereotypical here (yummy would approve ), but shit man, brown guys with something to prove is just a normality here on the north side of Edmonton. I've never had white, black, Asian, Spanish, grey, rainbow, whatever kids being fucking clowns around me like that.

NAW...FOR someone that would be interested in HIS car and all he's done to maintain it...they'll appreciate the novel. I know I would. That alone would sell the car, for me personally.

So, I think I discovered the clunk noise I've been hearing is a failed driver side compliance bushing...which would explain why I ran into some clearance issues with my very close tolerance between tire and fender (they were fine when I installed, but gradually have gotten closer until the fender incident last week).

Trying to decide if I should go OEM or PCI from Heeltoe...with the motor mounts and all the stiffening stuff on my car, not sure I want to make anything MORE rigid.

I'm only considering PCI for a durability's sake moreso than anything else.
