I don't know your industry, but in my field, we just call it out like we see it. The guys I work with don't have time for bullshit and can smell it a mile away. Losing credibility is a fucking death sentence here. If I were you, question question question. If they're really mismanaging your project, you need to speak up for the benefit of the group and company.

advice too real....

but iuno he's 52 turning 53 soon i think.. still only a Senior Consultant. He should be making Manager soon and fucking shit up at a higher level

Typical consultant: when asked a question, responds in a roundabout way that doesn't really answer the question. Fool, sure 'you're doing your job' when its a client, but when it's your teammate asking a question, how does that help anyone..?!?

We're Consultants, bullshitting is our core bread and butter

And I definitely always question him. This project is already way behind schedule and he doesn't have the leadership/skills to get us where we need to be. Also if you can't fucking help out your own damn teammates which will ultimately help you successfully implement this part of the project, you're shooting yourself in the damn foot..

That's what I did with a past manager, who is deceased, and it worked well.

Bruh.. on a serious note, not sure if you work for the gubmint or not.. but if not, don't link yourself to incompetent individuals (if you do work for gubmint, no choice, haha). That being said, you don't want to be associated with someone who gets flagged for wasting time and money.

Reason being, they might sink yo ass too when it's time. Or that individual could redirect blame to you and throw you under the bus. I'm not saying be an asshole and point out their inadequacies in their role, but don't let the shit stink up your suit ya dig.

I've had them for a few years now and have nothing bad to say about them.
If you wanna be a baller go ahead and get the softest stickiest tires you can. Wear them quick, wear them loud. But that's not for me and not for a lot of other people either.
Chad, you're a tool. The RE-11s aren't all that expensive. I'm sure they are more than others, but overall a great price for a great tire.

Second, dont trust tire wear ratings. The system of measuring them is not standardized by any means. Overnight, Bridgestone changed the RE-11s from 140 to 180 (or vice versa, I dont remember), yet the tire was the exact same. They did it to fit into a class of racing. 9 months of aggresive driving and I'm down maybe 15% at the very most. If I get 4 years out of a set of tires, I'm happy. Personally, I don't want to be on a set of tires for 8 years, just because they still have tread on them.

Third, I've never thought of them as being loud. Same with many other near R-compound tires. If wifey doesn't notice, it likely is a non-issue.

But sure, go buy expensive wheels and put mediocre tires on them, because they're quiet. Is that before or after you upgraded your brakes and put a SC on? HELLA PERFORMANCE, dang I need quiet tires

You know what's annoying? Rocks getting stuck in UHP tires. It happens too often. In 4 seasons tires it doesn't matter, in UHP *click click click click*

What's worse is when his superiors think he's doing a great job. It shouldn't be the underlings who have to point out the incompetencies.

Nah.. private firm.. mid-tier IT Consulting.

I definitely try not to link myself to those incompetent fools.. (except you guys ) . You are defined by the company you hold. I try not to hang out with this guy much at all.. We don't see eye to eye on a lot of things and I'm pretty sure he knows I think he's an idiot because of how I phrase my questions.. It's a fine line between that and being an asshole though.. I gotta tread lightly..

You do make a good point.. Getting thrown under the bus can very well happen here.. Definitely things to consider..

There's nothing getting stuck in these. There are no grooves

Maybe on the very edges, but the grooves are pretty shallow.

Heh my cheapy UHP are really annoying for that. The grooves are shallow but narrow enough for rocks to get stuck sometimes. Then it's clicking galore.

He owned tires that didn't grip for shit and an Accord with 450hp. But that's unrelated.
