The only good thing about Canada is that you can likely get an s2 cheaper here than in the US...

Also can't find Meguiars 105 anywhere locally, just that ScratchX stuff. Wanted to correct my debadging but with ScratchX by hand it's taking forever +1.

^Order the Griots stuff on Amazon. It's so easy to work with.
My NBP looks great sans all the rock chips up front. Clay/polish/seal once a year, wax every three months.

in the end, i wish I hadn't tried to polish out the swirls so much on the TL...a good coat of protection regularly would have sufficed. That's all I do now.

I just feel like the crows feet and some other odd imperfections under the clear were a result of the constant heating of the paint under from polishing.
Maybe not...but the car looks great when it's just waxed and I feel like I should have left it at that.

Yea the crows feet sucks. I especially have them on my hood all the way up front above the headlights. I never felt like they were the result of my taking the ro to it though.
I have in the past couple of years started taping off all the edges/gaps/etc. Just to make sure I don't eat through the paint. I didn't do that the first few years.

My NBP is getting crows feet, I don't think it's from too much polishing. Honda paint has always been weak.

I'd have to check. I know how to use M105 by hand for fixing small scratches, the Griots stuff is probably just as good but I wouldn't know the equivalent to it.

Griots basically comes in four steps with their pads color matched for each. 1 being abrasive 4 being like scatchx (very mild). I've never had to do anything other than 3 or 4 and have had a bottle of 2 sitting there unused for years. The civic needs a lot of love though and I imagine I'll have to bust out the 2 for it. (women and their heels...)
Polish aside I'm a huge fan of their sealant. It goes on so fast and easy and comes off just the same. Lasts forever.
I'm sure someone has a better recommendation with some of the products you can get at autogeek (Pinnacle, etc) but Griots has served me well. Plus a good portion of their lineup can be had at Advance.
Also their leather restore product is awesome.
