I don't know how you can love the brand lineage and say something like that. I wouldn't choose one over my cars, but I still appreciate them. RSX-S the same.

Cool pictures, McCrabby, appreciate you sharing it!

I think you're drinking the Kool Aid again. I can appreciate a car without appreciating all the brand cars and my taste can change over time.

I drink kool aid for having an opinion?
so you don't think something is a cool car that you used to think it's a cool car?

That's odd to me. Nobody is asking you to buy one or blow someone that owns one. Although if you were offering, I'd consider.

and I concur...that Chad is a Chode. Not to be confused with other Chad, that can sometimes be a Taint.

No, you're drinking the kool aid because once again a simple post of mine saying "RX7 is cool. I could do without the ITR. Been there done that, not my cup of tea anymore. They all look the same any. Ohhh look, a red background Honda emblem!" is enough to rile you up. I can have an opinion too.

You don't need to be pedantic about a post simply stating an opinion you do not share, nothing is factual here... unlike Chad amazing chock-full of knowledge posts.

He's having a self discussion proving to himself that he is right in his parallel universe. It's like a circle jerk involving himself and his reflection in the mirror.

You are entitled to your opinion (because I'm saying so ONLY though )...but I have not really thought a car was cool and then not thought it was cool. Again, I won't go buy it but I can still think it's a nice lookin car and respect that someone kept it in great shape.

you're so pterodactyl in your responses.

I... I think that's just called "jerking". No circle.

But I rather enjoyed that thread. I can't wait to read the inevitable follow up question of "how do I replace my headlight wiring loom, mine melted for some reason"

I didn't say it wasn't cool anymore, I said it wasn't my cup of tea anymore. It's been done and overdone... and then overdone some more. With a bullet list of 5 items I can probably sum up 98% of the ITR builds out there.
The ones that stick out from the lot are rarer than an intelligent Chad post.

The ITR was and is a nice car. It's youngster looks simply do not appeal as much to me as they used to.

Guess you can't circle jerk with only 2 people... and one of them being a reflection of yourself. Or can you??

I'm prepared to chuckle too.

I've refrained from posting more in this thread. Sometimes shit is just too dumb I can't even think of a way to approach it. The resounding word in my head is simply "DENSE".

I can kinda see where bunny is coming from. In the early 90s I thought the AE86 was absolute cool. But now, they're so played out and overhyped that if there were three of them in a row next to a nicely done CRX, I'd be all over the CRX. And I'm a diehard (mostly)unapologetic Toyota nut and I've never cared much for Honda (nemesis!).

Tastes change. I was admiring that RX7 over the ITRs as well. They've never done anything for me aside from a respect for the engineering involved.

Maybe I'm a pterodactyl too...

Same though, 11pm is enough for today. Fixed my sisters computer... great malware infection. No matter how many barriers you put, people always figure out a way to get infected.

I've realized what type of guy Chad is. He is the nerdy engineering kid that got picked on all the time but always felt some need to fill some void within himself by spewing a lot of information in an attempt to sound intelligent.

Unfortunately you can't cherry pick facts fool.. And I bet he's probably too proud to even admit if he's ever wrong either

Anyway... I should sleep, flew back to Cali and decided to take the TL on a cruise so just cruised to Laguna Beach, Newport Beach and just sat on some benches and watched the sunset.. It was pretty damn sweet.

I concur, man...I may have misinterpreted what you meant since I read it as "get those POS out of the picture". I won't lie, I am not SUPER in love with those anymore either and my Mom had a very clean 9 year old 55k mile hunter green with gsr blades 1999 GSR (that got stolen ). She had a 1991 Civic SI before that...I've always loved all of those, but I also was looking past the ITR to the slammed S2000 further up the road in that picture.

Hey! My 2nd car was an 1987 SR5 Corolla Sedan...that's one car I WISH I still had!

I get what y'all are saying though

Well,
I love you too, man. All homo.
Part of the reason I let loose on him is because he was being an azzhole to my good buddy Johnny.

update on miata:

the family that owns the car, now wants to get the car appraised.
since it does have only 12k miles, I'm positive that it's going to be appraised for more than $6k
but they wont get that much if the market isnt there, ie; supply and demand.

i'm hoping to offer something under $6k and hopefully they bite.

and even at $6k, its no longer a deal and i will most likely pass it up.

Still, it's a 20 year old car that wasn't worth much new. Prices seem to be all over the place now, but I don't know that I'd go much over $4k for that car even if it had every option ticked.

Sure they might find someone who must have it, and will drop whatever for it. I'd let them know they have a sale at $whatever and they won't have to advertise or deal with lookyloos. Then let it ride. But I'm skeptical of a "barn find" miata like that.

$6k is way out of *my* comfort zone for that car.

I'd take a 2K loss for Justin to be the owner. I know how much fun he'd have and that car deserves to be put through the paces.

The similarity is uncanny.
One is a bunny, the other a cat.
One has gonads, the other a wife that has them in her purse.
One is a Frenchie, the other a hick.
One is gonna get slapped, the other is going to slap.
