I see your "office" is under the stairs.
I looked into it more deeply and I found that apparently what happened is that you were laid off five years ago and no one ever told you, but through some kind of glitch in the payroll department, you still get a paycheck.
Just don't steal the red stapler.

Can someone sell me something?
Porn DVDs, Dildos, fleshlights, cocaine, Girl scout cookies.....
Holy FUCK, can you imagine what kind of night that would be.
Watching porn, while sucking on a dildo, penis is a fleshlight, with a little cocaine on the nightstand, while listening to some slow sexual music while eating girl scout cookies.

...covering the dilda with c'cane so you can stuff it through the hole of the DVD while you feed girl scout cookies to the fleshlight...
Good times!

I love Rancho Santa Margarita...and Irvine...and all of Southern California. Northern is nice too, but totally different vibe.
Kevin, I have a 600.1 and 10W6 in old Blue eyes and that one 10 thumbs just as hard as my 12's in the black beauty. Do it, bro.

Yes, there is a difference between southern and northern Cali. I lived in southern for 3 months... Never again. I'd visit but that's it. I have to stay up here in northern Cali. Being in SoCal if the person says "hella" you know they're from Northern Cali.
J, your going to move that over to the new one right, I sure hope so.

Stroller... Don't get me started on those. If you're going to have more then 1 kid then I just suggest getting a double right off the bat...
I has this one:
http://www.buybuybaby.com/store/prod...+Jogger+double
It was $499 for the one seat and frame.
$169 for the second seat but BBB had it where if you bought the frame and one seat you get the second seat for free. Then I had to buy some adapter for the infant carrier which was $40 and some other shit. I need to buy the gilder board for my 2 year old, which is $80 bucks.
I paid almost $700 for the damn thing, but it folds up so nice and small...

I'll give you the advice my gf and blunt friends gave me. You seem like a thick-skinned guy and loves to dole it out so here it is. Preface: this is the same advice that got me through my situation.
You have two options Adam: 1. Start looking elsewhere, polish up your resume, go interview, and get your ass out of dodge.
2. Stop your bitching, change your perspective at your current job, and be grateful you have a job at all.
There are always going to be tough situations at work, at home, wherever. How you deal with them (flight or fight) is going to define the person you are. When people say "it builds character" they mean it. When a challenging situation comes up in life, are you just going let it consume you, or are you going to tackle it with everything you've got and grow out of it?
I was in the same situation last year. I hated my current project. I felt like I knew what I wanted (spoiler alert: I didn't) and I just wanted to get the hell out. I complained to everyone who listened (came off like a bitchy, over-entitled Millennial, which of course I was). Unfortunately (or fortunately?) nothing came to fruition so I had to tough it out. I changed my perception of what I wanted and just took everyone that was presented to me at face value. I learned what I could, I did what I wanted, and the strangest thing happened; for the first time ever, I was happy. In the 3.5 years at this firm, I can't say I've been happy.. I got a glorious review year-end, got a promotion, got a very nice pay raise and here I am now..
This project definitely has been a very large challenge for me; albeit not intellectually stimulating, it taught me how to deal with many differing personalities and taught me how to better manage my downtime more productively. If I had been given the opportunity to leave when I asked for it last year, I doubt I will be where I am career-wise now. I would have probably been staffed on another project which was a lot more laborious. I would not have as much time to be on AZ and wouldn't have been able to cultivate a lot of the relationships I made here (I can say that I'm a lot closer to you guys than most of my IRL friends). I would not have been able to help my parents out with their renovation because of lack of time to coordinate the contractors, etc. etc.
At the end of the day, it goes back to the mantra I live by: "Everything happens for a reason". You're given shit, you work with it; you're given lemons, you better make some damn good lemonade out of it.
A friend of mine told me this when I was struggling a bit in college: "Everything is going to be alright in the end; if it's not alright, it's not the end." So either shut up and deal with it, or pack up and GTFO.
