Shiiiiet son, ten years and still no ring? Your girl is patient!
I have two friends like that still. No idea what they're waiting for. I think one of them has been with his girl for ten years and the only reason he hasn't proposed is because I secretly think he doesn't really like her, but he's settled and too lazy to keep looking.
The second has been with his girl for 14 years (high school sweet hearts), but still no ring. His excuse? They both come from divorced families so he doesn't see the need for it. She wants the commitment though- can't blame her. He just says "I'm keeping my options open". DUDE. You've been together for 14 years!!! You don't want options and if you did, you would've been single a long time ago.
I facepalm at both of them.

I'm about done with my Beemer...instead of an oil dipstick it has an elctronic oil level sensor, which appears to have crapped out. $190 for the new sensor and gasket. Simple to change, but fuq me!

This is the reason I hate new cars. All of them. Being able to wrench on your own car is becoming harder and harder. I sincerely miss simpler cars more and more every day.

See, that's what happens when you take something simple, inexpensive and mechanical/analogue, and change it to complicated, expensive and electronic.

Just hit up another shitty sushi joint in Raleigh... Only reason we went was because another trusted coworker said it was legit.... Sorely disappointed..

Re: Wrenching cars...it's a lost art because cars are less and less wrenchable.Fun weekend, Golf, if the snow melts enough then Cripple Creek Ice festival, then game night and sleep over at the cabin of some friends with them and another couple, I'm hoping for group sex!

Friday- going with wifey and some friends of ours for dinner and bowling.
Saturday- That's our anniversary. Wifey has made dinner plans plus something else for us. Apparently it's a secret for now.
Sunday- Wifey and her friend signed us up for some kind of secret charity event/physical activity. No idea what it is, but I've been told it's not group followed by dinner in the evening AGAIN.

no, but really, we're trying to be as cheap as possible for next few months. Which kind of boggles my mind that we're going out for dinner three nights in a row... but apparently she did good by making use of Groupon and a gift card. I'm hoping the damage is minimal.
