Yummy said its not. But get this, maybe my eyes aren't fully open and awake, but, that newest picture with the intake, the car looks to be WDP, or ASM. It sure isn't whatever color she's claiming it was.
Well, almost finished. Need 1.5 boards to go still
I also haven't constructed the stairs, but that can't happen until my final grading is done and my sod is in place. Otherwise I won't be sure how high or low the stairs have to be.
Next up: fence posts, then final grading, then sod and mulch and rocks, then trees and shrubs, then stairs, then fence.
Oh, and I also plan on painting the house doors and lights a dark brown color also. The front of the house is like that and looks pretty nice. It's one of the last things on the list to do though.
hahaha... it's ridiculous what developers are doing here... if you look at homes from 20 years ago, their lots were ginormous to what they are now. They try pretzeling houses in, to maximize profits. And the city lets them.
Overall, we have one of the smallest houses in our area, built on one of the biggest lots. The neighbors house that you can see is close, but I have nothing on that side. It's only 4 feet to the property line. On the other side- that's a different story. I have a TON of room because I'm on a corner lot. Back yard is huge (for a new area) too. But it is absolutely dumb how close they build houses here now. One starts on fire and you're pretty much guaranteed to have a 3 house blaze within 20 minutes.
oh, and for the spindles? they're aluminum tubes... you can buy predrilled top and bottom rails but they're a bit more expensive. Well I got the brilliant idea to just drill my own to save $35 over the entire railing. Drilling. Every. Single. Hole. There's over 200 of them. So tedious and so slow... NEVER AGAIN!!
and some beer. Like I said, I enjoy doing it. Anything wood related, for that matter.
Next up: gotta find a grill. Ended up deciding on a Napoleon grill, Wifey ordered it last night and then I was like "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" so she cancelled the order
I'm seriously caught between three options and for the life of me, can't decide what to get.
Three options:
1. Napoleon – LEX485RSIB
2. Weber – Genesis S-330
3. Broil King – Regal 590 Pro
I want the sucker to last many years, and based on that, everyone says to get the weber. But it has the least amount of features. Doesn't even have a rotisserie, which is like a $200 option
