Yes, I'm a civie. We've gone over this before. But your comment makes no sense. In first and second year, all engineering students do the same math classes and a lot of other the same bullshit classes. Third and fourth year is much more specialized in their own respective fields, but it's not like civE is a cake walk.
There might be more dummies entering civE (hey the lowest GPAs still gotta go somewhere after passing first year), but really, all that translates to is more dummies dropping out of civE.
If I remember correctly, to get into civE/envE you needed a 2.0 GPA overall after first year. For elecE, chemE and mechE it was like 2.3-2.4. That's not aiming all that high either, lol.
Then there was the astrophysicsE, or whatever that shit was called. I think you needed like 3.2-3.4 to get in.

So, just me being me.
I have nothing against Civil Engineers to be honest (I just don't know anyone who is a CE) but I have respect for all engineers. And honestly, I ike my bridges and other infrastructure objects I rely on to be reliable, thanks.
